How it all came to be…
It all started with a vision to serve fresh, delicious and authentic Indian Food to the Okanagan, similar to the fine quality and flavor packed dishes they had come accustomed to while growing up in the Punjab region of India. After losing his job at the local RV factory that he had worked for the past 30 plus years, Jaswinder, along with his wife Surinder Pal, decided to start a new chapter and venture by pursuing their passion for Indian food.
They started off by selling fresh samosas and Indian dishes out of their house, but soon realized that there they were unable to keep up with the demand due to limitations of their home kitchen. With the help and guidance of their son Jazz, they branched out and opened up a restaurant in the beautiful 500 block of downtown Penticton British Columbia. We have been at this same location since August 2009, and have become known around the Okanagan for our delicious and fresh food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and welcoming restaurant environment.
